Horizen Community Hub review and guide

Image
Horizen Community Hub has a Horizen faucet you can claim from once per day.  Affiliate Disclosure: I receive referral commissions if you use my referral link, which appears multiple times on this page. Getting started You'll need to get a Horizen wallet, ideally one of their official ones. You can start claiming from Horizen Community Hub without a Horizen wallet, but your claims will be substantially reduced (about a third of what they are once you confirm your Horizen wallet address) and you won't actually get your payment until you get the Horizen wallet. I got the Sphere by Horizen wallet. If you use a non-official wallet, you probably won't be able to confirm your address, but you'll still be able to claim the lower amount. The process of address confirmation involves cryptographically signing a message they give you, and then giving them back the signed version of a message. In  public-private key cryptography (also known as asymmetric encryption), a cryptograp...

Open letter to Coinpot regarding non-payment issues

Image
Here follows my open letter to Coinpot regarding non-payment issues. I censored a few things, such as my protonmail account name and my IP address, and the formatting probably appears a little different on blogspot than it does on Gmail. I publish this in the hopes that it will be helpful to others. I previously sent Coinpot support 4 e-mails before this one. However, two were duplicates since I tried to contact them from both my Protonmail account and my Gmail account, so only two unique e-mails before this. I also tried contacting the support for Bonus BitCoin, Bit Fun, and Moon Bitcoin to see if they'd be willing to intervene on my behalf. _________________________________________________________________________________ Subject: I followed the terms of service. I never used a bot and I never had more than one account. Dear Coinpot staff, I followed your terms of service. I never used a bot or other form of automation. I never had more than one account. I kept my password secure....

FreeTron (free-tron.com) preliminary thoughts

Image
Update: This site recently added surveys, which might make reaching the minimum withdrawal in a reasonable amount of time easier. I haven't updated the rest of my preliminary thoughts yet, but assume they apply to people who only plan to roll the faucet and not do surveys. I am leaning towards not recommending this site due to the high minimum withdrawal of 30 Tron. I've had bad experiences with faucets in the past that had high minimum withdrawals, and no offerwalls or other ways to earn a lot of cryptocurrency quickly enough to actually reach the minimum withdrawal in a reasonable amount of time. Specifically, most of those faucets shut down long before I ever reached the minimum withdrawal amounts. One of these high minimum withdrawal faucets that I tried in the past demanded a deposit once I finally reached the minimum withdrawal amount before it would (allegedly) pay me, which is a fairly sure sign it was a scam. Now, obviously, I can't say for sure whether free-tron.c...

GetDoge preliminary thoughts

Image
January 24, 2021 Update: Although direct withdrawal did not show up when I initially wrote these preliminary thoughts, it is showing up now. I have updated this blog post accordingly. GetDoge offers a faucet, PTC ads, shortlinks, offerwalls, and a thing where you can earn just for solving captchas. You earn "bits" on the site, which are an internal currency (not related to bitcoin), and withdraw in Doge to either Faucetpay or a wallet on the blockchain. The exchange rate between bits and Doge seems to vary. This is probably their way of trying to control for fluctuations in the exchange rate between Doge and the dollar. I was disappointed earlier with GetDoge, because the withdrawal option to my Doge wallet on the blockchain did not show up earlier, and I can't use Faucetpay because I am in the United States. Fortunately, it changed, and I see it now. I do not know if they just recently added direct withdrawal to the blockchain, and that's why it's showing up now...

Sample claims from Es-Faucets

Image
This post is out-of-date; ES-Faucets and ESPTCO recently added paid membership requirement at $2.99 per month; I am no longer recommending until I am sure it is easy to pay for the membership by being active on the website. The following is for historical purposes, and in case it helps anyone who has already paid for the membership. This blog post is about sample claims from  Es-Faucets . If you do not know what Es-Faucets are, and would like to learn more, please see my  Es-Faucets and ESPTCO review and guide . If you would like to use my Es-Faucets referral link, it is: https://es.btcnewz.com/auth/register?ref=04dedca1763d661284d4 Note that signing up with a referral link, or adding a referral code shortly after registration, will give you a 2500 ES-Coin bonus.  Affiliate Disclosure: I receive referral commissions if you use my referral link, which appears multiple times on this page. When reading these, note that "claim amount" means the amount that I would have earned...
